(hereinafter referred to as Nord Shares) was held in the multi-functional conference hall No. 3 of the conference center of Wanda Jiahua Hotel, Xining, Qinghai Province. Around the company’s work deployment at the beginning of the year, the departments reviewed and summarized the company’s work in the first half of the year, analyzed the current economic situation, deployed the tasks in the second half of the year, and drew a new blueprint for the company’s development. Nord’s directors, supervisors, executives and core business leaders attended the meeting.
“Innovation Drives Future Creative Achievement Quality” is the theme of Node’s mid-year meeting in 2018. Around the core topic of strict quality control and continuous innovation, Node invited Professor Dai Shengli, Vice-Dean of School of Public Management of Central China Normal University, Doctor of Management Science and Engineering of Wuhan University of Technology, Director of China Soft Science Research Association and Master’s Tutor as the whole audience on the afternoon of August 27. Quality control training and group discussion were conducted.
On August 28, at the beginning of the mid-year meeting, Xu Songqing, president of Nord, delivered an opening speech to the meeting. Xu stressed that with the intensification of competition in the industry, it has entered an unprecedented period of strategic opportunities, opportunities and challenges are also great. Companies need to actively face problems, carefully analyze the advantages and disadvantages, summarize the work in the first half of the year, and make positive adjustments to achieve performance standards in the second half of the year.
The responsible persons of the functional departments and subsidiaries of Nord Headquarters comprehensively summarized the work situation in the first half of the year, analyzed and reflected on the existing problems, reviewed the achievements made, formulated a short-term work plan for specific problems, and arranged and deployed the key work in the second half of the year.
During the meeting, the company leaders and managers had a good interaction and communication, put forward their own suggestions for the problem, and fully listened to everyone’s opinions. Participants unanimously expressed that we should continue to implement the concept of “Strictly grasp quality, innovate and forge ahead”, eliminate all difficulties, achieve better performance in the next few months, and lay a solid foundation for the company’s future leapfrog development in an all-round way.
At the meeting, Leng Daguang, Secretary-General of Electronic Copper Foil Material Branch of China Electronic Material Industry Association, Gao Xiaobing, Director of Institute of Lithium and Electricity, made a special report, and analyzed in detail the development, current situation and Countermeasures of domestic electronic lithium and electric copper foil industry.
Mr. Wang Weigang, chairman of Nord Co., Ltd., made in-depth exchanges with you on the importance of copper foil, macroeconomic situation and industry development trend, and strategic layout of the company. Wang Weigang said that in the near future, the main and sub-industries of materials are changing, battery varieties are changing, and the types of vehicles used are changing. In the process of industry shuffling, it must be a big one. Wang Dong emphasized that he hoped that in the future, besides copper foil, small enterprises would go out of the innovation road. Now, the industry is facing an important moment of challenge. Nord system should continue to play the main product advantages, create more products to escort the main products, constantly optimize and upgrade assets, and provide strong support for the stable operation of the company.
At the end of the meeting, Xu Songqing, president of Nord Stock Company, put forward his thoughts on the future development of industry and company and the relationship between company and individual growth to all employees. Xu stressed that the lithium battery industry is now facing a major shuffle, in such an environment, quality is the core, backward capacity will be phased out. Nord people should not only have a strong sense of hardship and responsibility, but also have a sense of quality, learning, compliance and teamwork. On August 30, the smooth commissioning of the 10,000-ton power lithium-ion copper foil project in Nord, Qinghai, will be a new breakthrough point for Nord’s joint-stock business.
